The Challenge: Quality Over Quantity

Jamie Wilson of Krywicki Design had achieved what many strive for: digital vitality. However, she quickly realized that "going viral" often attracts a broad audience rather than the specific clientele looking for her high-end design expertise. She needed a way to filter the noise and provide serious prospects with a deeper insight into her technical process and creative philosophy.

The Strategy: Storytelling with Substance

To shift the narrative, we moved away from quick-cut trends and focused on a documentary-style approach. By anchoring the video in a seated interview, we gave Jamie the floor to articulate the "why" behind her work.

Key collaborators on set included:

The Deliverables

We provided a multi-channel video strategy to ensure Jamie’s investment worked across all platforms:

  • The Design Film: A comprehensive, 5 Minute video featured prominently on the Krywicki Design website to convert high-intent leads.

  • The Social Edit: Instead of my typical approach of cutting the edit into several reels for social, Jamie preferred a condensed 3-minute reel designed for social media to maintain engagement while directing followers toward the full story.

"I took this home as if I was designing my own. For me, that makes it feel super special because when I walk in the doors I feel like I'm at home. And I have the oppurtunity to show the client what's inside my brain. It also gives me the oppurtunity to think about it all the time because I love it so much."

The Narrative Focus

The Wicker Point project served as the perfect canvas to showcase Jamie’s signature style. Throughout the film, we highlighted:

  • The Design Process: How Jamie addressed specific architectural challenges of a lakeside property.

  • Client Connection: The methods used to meet—and exceed—homeowner goals while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.

  • Personal Identity: How this project serves as a hallmark of Jamie’s personal taste and the Krywicki Design brand.

The goal wasn't just to show a beautiful home; it was to show the mind that created it.
